Great food better service

For my first time experience of this restaurant and I was just doordashing for them I was helped by a guy named roy he was great but before he had helped me a woman who had black hair was really rude all because the doordash wanted yall to pay for food that she said wasnt wrong I am sorry but that is not my fault I am the delivery driver dont come at me with an attitude because I just drive the food to the customer and for you to do that its rude and unprofessional as a worker and it makes me never wanna eat there ever not a great first impression at all hopefully the manager can address this and there will be less rude employees.

staff was very freindly and the food was out of this world. It made you feel like you were at your grandmas house fir breakfast.

Cozy, homestyle food with a nice Sunday buffet.

Yummy! I love to eat here when I’m in Ponca. They’ve always been super nice and have great food! I’ve had their hamburgers, which are big and juicy, and I’ve had several of their meal selections. The food has never disappointed me and the price is very reasonable!

They have a really good chicken fried steak and sides and the homemade dinner rolls are outstanding

The service is great, we had the breakfast buffet, the scrambled eggs could have had a better texture for sure, but the bacon was perfect.

Simply the Best! Best food, best service, best coffee. They can make it anyway you like, and it's great prices for the amount. Can't do chicken fried steak? How bout chicken fried chicken? Amazing! And the cook knows how to poach an egg ... hardest thing to do. I love this place.

Was completely disappointed. Ordered the Chicken Fried Steak, French Fries, and corn.Chicken fry was ALL flour crust, the meat was pounded so thin I could hardly see it. The fries were extremely greasy and limp although I was excited to see them at first glance because they were real potatoes and not the usual processed frozen fries most places serve. The corn was straight out of the can, absolutely no seasoning and barely warm.The waitress had no interest in being there, after she sat my plate down she left and never returned to see if things were alright or if I needed ketchup or salt and pepper....I had to get it from other tables myself.I might be old fashioned but if a woman is going to have "prison-looking" tattoos all over her arms she needs to wear something to cover them when serving tables. My waitress has full sleeve tattoos which I found offensive and inappropriate. Not going back there again.

They have home cooked food fresh cut french fries.. Everyone is friendly that works there. I've been going there for about 15 yrs or more, the atmosphere is like a mom and pop hometown restaurant!! Homemade Pie..

Great food. Everytime I come to Ponca City I try to stop and eat.

Food was hot, fresh and didn't have to wait long for it to arrive at our table. However, you do need to watch when you pay. They "forget" to clear out the register from the last Customer and charge you for their meal and yours. This has happened to me twice and when I was there last week, it happened to the customer before me. I've only been to this restaurant 5 times and 3 out of the 5 this has happened, not very good odds.

Very disapointed I eat here once a week. Breakfest sucked today waitress was rude will never be back

This is an old style family restaurant that has been going for years. Home style cooking and plenty of it. Order individual plates and they have a lunch buffet. It's good so when we're in ponca city, we'll stop in. They're usually crowded.

Hot rolls: Slightly sweet and a bit dense. Great with butter and honey (served with it)Jalapeno Havarti Mac and cheese: a bit liquidy, but wonderful flavor. Noodles large and soft. Served in a separate bowl from the entre. Doesn't have jalapenos in it, but jalapeno flavor.Mashed potatoes with brown gravy: mashed potatoes are lumpy, no real flavor. Brown gravy had a very strong flavor. Gravy had lumps, it was most likely frozen/refrigerated then microwaved. Didn't go very well together.Ribs: oilly but somehow dry and tough. Doesn't taste actually smoked. Most likely smoke flavor. Overpowered spices. Molly Rae sauce make it better, but hardly taste meat flavor.I didn't like it, so I didn't finish my food. The rolls and mac and cheese were amazing, but overall the meal was disappointing.

Really fresh food with large portions, very good value for the quality and variety. My husband's favorite restaurant in Ponca City. The only disappointment was the buffet dessert.

On N. 14th st. in Ponca City, Oklahoma, this restaurant is an older cafe type establishment with all the good food to match. Clean, friendly service, modestly priced.

Hands down, best chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes I've ever had outside my great grandma's kitchen. I'll definitely be coming back soon!
